Bluboo Maya With Explosive-Proof Film Survives Hammer & Knife

One of the benefits of modern smartphones is that they come better protected than ever before. Which generally speaking can only be a good thing. As smartphones typically are costing more to purchase, ensuring the protection of a newly-purchased smartphone has never been more important. As a result, you can get a variety of different coverings and accessories which can help to protect your device.

That said, this is not something that is reserved to the most expensive devices. The Bluboo Maya is a smartphone which retails at only $99.99 and can be currently pre-ordered for as little as $69.99. So while this is not the most expensive smartphone around, it is likely to be a device that you will want to hold on to and therefore, is still a purchase that you will want to protect. One way to do so is with an explosive-proof film which sits over the front of the device. It is worth pointing out that Bluboo is currently running a promotion where you can pick up a Bluboo Maya for only $9.99 and as part of the promotion, those lucky enough to secure a handset at the low $9.99 price will also be getting one of the explosive-proof films for free.

But how well does an explosive-proof film work on the Blue Boo Maya? Surprisingly well it would seem. To highlight just how well the film protects the Maya, Bluboo has put together a short video demonstrating the film’s protective benefits. During the video, the display on the Bluboo Maya is subjected to being scratched with a knife and hit with a hammer and at the end of the ordeal, seems largely unaffected by the hammer and knife. Those interested in seeing how well the Maya holds up with the protective film on top, can do so by checking out the video below. While those interested in learning more about the Maya can also check out a display comparison Bluboo has put together comparing some of the benefits of the $99.99 Bluboo Maya's 5.5-inch HD JDI display, compared to the display on the much more expensive Apple iPhone 6s. That video can also be checked out below. While those who want to pre-order the Blueboo Maya for $69.99 or learn more on how to pick one up for only $9.99, can do so by heading through the link below.
