Vivo is a Chinese smartphone manufacturer which plans to introduce two new smartphones on June 30th, the Vivo X7 and X7 Plus. These two devices will be Vivo's mid-range offerings, which means that the Vivo XPlay 5, which launched earlier this year, will remain the company's flagship smartphone. The Vivo XPlay 5 comes with the 'Dual Edge' display, 6GB of RAM and the Snapdragon 820 SoC, which is something Vivo X7 and X7 Plus won't offer. These two phones will, however, be quite affordable, and despite the fact its specs won't be premium, they're still quite compelling, read on.
The Vivo X7 was already certified by TENAA (China's equivalent to the FCC), which means we already know the device specifications, and the phone has now surfaced in some seemingly official images. If you take a look at the gallery down below, you'll get to see quite a few Vivo X7 images with a nice set of backgrounds. These images seem to be official, though we cannot confirm that at this point, of course. Now, these images go hand-in-hand with pretty much every Vivo X7 leak we've seen thus far. This smartphone will be made out of metal, its back side will resemble the one we've seen on the recent iPhone devices, while the front side resembles a number of Meizu-branded smartphones. The physical home key will be placed below the display, and the company's branded is placed on the back of the phone, where the rear-facing fingerprint scanner usually sits.
According to TENAA, this smartphone will sport a 5.2-inch fullHD (1920 x 1080) AMOLED display, 4GB of RAM and 64GB of native storage. The phone will be fueled by the Snapdragon 652 64-bit octa-core processor, and a 2,930mAH battery will also be a part of this package. The 13-megapixel camera will be placed on the back of this phone, and a whopping 16-megapixel selfie shooter is included here as well. Android 5.1 Lollipop will come pre-installed on this smartphone, and on top of it, you'll be able to find Vivo's custom UI. The phone will measure 147.3 x 71.85 x 7.24mm, while it will weight 151 grams.
