Top 10: Celebrate "Star Wars Day" With these Gadgets - May 2016

May the 4th has been known as "Star Wars Day" for a simple reason. It's close to saying "May the force", which is a popular saying in the Star Wars franchise of movies. With the latest Star Wars movie coming out last year, there's been a ton of new merchandise and products that have come out, including the BB8 Droid which can be controlled with your smartphone. We now have 10 of the best Star Wars merchandise that you can pick up to celebrate May the 4th.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens

This list wouldn't be fair without adding in the latest movie in the Star Wars franchise, The Force Awakens. It's now available on DVD and available for streaming over on Amazon. This particular one has all sorts of bonus features to keep you excited as we await the next installment in this trilogy.

Samsung Galaxy S6 Case: Darth Vader Stormtrooper

Of course, who wouldn't want to sport some Star Wars on their Galaxy S6? This Galaxy S6 case is the "Darth Vader Stormtrooper" model and it looks great on the Galaxy S6. It is also available for the Galaxy S4, and Galaxy S5. Both in black or white backgrounds. It does also have a lip on the front, which will protect your phone if it should fall out of your hands.

Star Wars Darth Vader Bluetooth Character Speaker

It's not a big Bluetooth speaker, but it's decent enough to sit on your desk and be used to play music and such. Not to mention it has Darth Vader's head and a lightsaber attached. Definitely makes for a great looking Bluetooth speaker, and one that isn't all that popular either.

Star Wars C3PO Stereo Speaker

This speaker here isn't Bluetooth, so you will need to use the 3.5mm jack on the back to connect it to a smartphone, laptop or another source for audio. But it is a great looking C3PO stereo speaker. Much like the Darth Vader speaker above, this one would also look pretty slick on your desk or even a table at home.

Star Wars The Digital Six film Collection

This collection has the original six Star Wars movies, leaving out the latest which is The Force Awakens. Included in this box set is The Phantom Menace, Attack of the Clones, Revenge of the Sith, A New Hope, The Empire Strikes Back, and Return of the Jedi. Additionally, it comes with the digital version of each movie, as well as the DVD version.

Sphero Star Wars BB-8 Droid

The BB-8 Droid here is an app-enabled Droid which can be controlled from your smartphone. It includes holographic messages, an adaptive personality and autonomous behavior. It's definitely a fun toy to play around with, even for adults who are big fans of the Star Wars franchise.

BB-8 Bobble Head

Who doesn't love a good bobble head? The BB-8 which debuted in The Force Awakens, has gotten the bobble head treatment, and is a good bobble head to pick up if you're a fan of the new movie. It's a 3.75-inch figurine, and part of a 7-character set that you can also pick up.

Darth Vader Star Wars Pop

Darth Vader has shrunk a bit here. This is a pretty small toy, which the manufacturer recommends as being for ages 5 and up. The head can also turn, it's also stylized and fun. Another great figurine to add to your growing collection.

Star Wars R2D2 Case

This case helps you represent R2D2, who is a beloved character of the Star Wars franchise. This case is available for the Galaxy S6, and not the Galaxy S6 Edge. It does wrap all the way around the Galaxy S6, so that your device is fully protected. This is a hard case so that it won't be super flimsy like some others out there.

Star Wars The Force Awakens Figurine Playset

Here's the figurine playset for the latest movie, The Force Awakens. This new set includes Flametrooper, Captain Phasma, Kylo Ren, Rey, BB-8 and Finn. All of these figurines in this playset are highly detailed, and are all attached to a base. These would look good on a shelf in a room, especially with other Star Wars figurines.
