Top 10: Android News Stories - May 15th, 2016

Although this week is sure to be exciting and filled with plenty of tech revolving around Android thanks to the Google I/O conference, this past week has had some interesting information pop up as well. Another rumor has surfaced that states Google's Android VR headset will be making a debut this week at the annual developer conference and that it would be the standalone headset that has been talked about in the past. Amazon released a new Dash button this past week, but instead of having one singular purpose it's geared towards IoT so it can technically be programmed for many things from ordering food to powering of the lights.

For those who subscribe to Verizon Wireless but are wanting an unlocked HTC 10, a hack was discovered that reveals the unlocked model does work on Verizon's network. Google announced that it would be making the OTA images available alongside factory images for Nexus devices when it drops new software updates, and ASUS confirmed that they will be launching the ZenFone 3 devices next month. Some leaked images have also surfaced this past week of the upcoming Xiaomi Mi Band 2, as well as the rumored front panel of the upcoming Moto X 2016 model.
