Rumor: OPPO To Unveil 3 Devices Soon, Including New Flagship

OPPO is one of the largest Chinese smartphone manufacturers at the moment. This company has managed to sell 50 million smartphones last year, and it seems like their Q1 2016 sales are also up to par. The company has introduced the OPPO R9 and R9 Plus devices earlier this year, and they’re expecting those two smartphones to account for the majority of sales this year. OPPO has also announced the F1 Plus FC Barcelona (Limited) Edition smartphone yesterday, and it seems like they might introduce new hardware soon, read on.

According to a new leak from China, it seems like OPPO Plans to release three new smartphones in the next week or so. As you can see in the gallery down below, this leak teases three smartphones, and you can even see them, though they’re really blurred out, so the design details are still unknown. Two smartphones will, allegedly, launch on June 2nd, and the third one is expected to land on June 6th. Judging by the leaked info, it is possible that OPPO plans to release their Find 9 flagship phablet on June 2nd or June 6th, and the OPPO Find 9a launch is also possible, which essentially means we might get two variants of the device. The affordable device, which is expected to launch on one of the aforementioned dates, will allegedly be the A59m unit which was certified quite recently. This smartphone will sport a 5.5-inch 720p display, 3GB of RAM and an octa-core SoC running at 1.5GHz. The 13-megapixel camera will be placed on its back, and an 8-megapixel shooter will be available up front. The aforementioned OPPO Find 9, on the other hand, is expected to be fueled by the Snapdragon 820 64-bit quad-core SoC, sports a 16-megapixel rear-facing camera, and previous leaks mentioned both 4GB and 6GB RAM variants of this phablet.

Now, this info surfaced in China yesterday, and also mentions the OPPO R9 FC Barcelona Edition, which is essentially the OPPO F1 Plus device we’ve talked about yesterday (identical phone). That smartphone has already been announced, which means that the source link was wrong as far as its release date goes, and that means it might be wrong regarding other information as well, but we’ll find out soon. According to the provided info, the first OPPO-branded handset is expected to arrive on June 2nd, so stay tuned for that.
