Meizu has been fairly quiet in the first quarter of this year, the company did not announce a single device in January, February or March. That being said, Meizu has opted to introduce three smartphones last month, which managed to surprise quite a few people. The company has introduced the Meizu M3, M3 Note and their PRO 6 flagship in China during April. That being said, we were wondering when will Meizu opt to introduce either of these phones in India, and we finally got our answer, read on.

I don't know if you recall, but a week ago, a Meizu India event date surfaced online, but it wasn't officially confirmed. The image that leaked suggested that the company will hold an event on May 11th, and it seems like that info was spot on. The company has started sending out May 11th event invites using the 'Long-Lasting Beauty' caption. Now, this might sound familiar to you, and for a good reason, this is the same slogan Meizu used for the M3 Note launch in China, which means the M3 Note will be introduced in India on the said date. Now, it is possible that Meizu intends to launch the M3 alongside the M3 Note, but we cannot be sure at the moment. The chances are fairly slim they will opt to introduce the PRO 6 though, even though that is possible as well.

The Meizu M3 Note features a 5.5-inch fullHD (1920 x 1080) display, along with 2GB / 3GB RAM and 16GB / 32GB of expandable internal storage. The device is fueled by the Helio P10 64-bit octa-core SoC which is manufactured by MediaTek. This smartphone also comes with a 4,100mAh battery which is not removable, and Android 5.1 Lollipop is pre-installed on this device with Meizu's Flyme UI on top of it. The 13-megapixel snapper (f/2.2 aperture, PDAF) can be found on the back of the M3 Note, and a 5-megapixel unit is located on the front side of this device. The Meizu M3 Note is the first 'M Note' handset made out of metal, and its display is protected by the Dinorex T2X-1 scratch/shock resistant glass. The phone offers 4G LTE connectivity, of course, while it measures 153.6 x 75.5 x 8.2mm, and weighs 163 grams.
