Huawei Watch 'Elegant' and 'Jewel' Arrive at Amazon

Earlier this year, Huawei launched a couple of new smartwatches that were geared towards women. They are the Huawei Watch Elegant and Huawei Watch Jewel. The company, like many other tech companies creating smartwatches, have had trouble making their products appeal to women. As smartwatches are typically pretty big and look a bit out of place on smaller wrists. The Huawei Watch Jewel, as you'd expect, adds Jewels to the bezel of the smartwatch. While the Elegant variant has a textured bezel, making it look, well more Elegant. Additionally, both watches are slightly larger than the original Huawei Watch. Measuring in at 44mm compared to 42mm in the original. Both watches are now available in the US, according to a press release issued by Huawei.

Both models are available over on Amazon, as well as Best Buy, Newegg, B&H Photo and the Google Store. The Huawei Watch Elegant is priced at $499, with the Huawei Watch Jewel coming in at $599. Coming in right on par with what the Huawei Watch was priced at when it first launched last fall. While these are the normal prices for these two smartwatches, Amazon has actually knocked $50 off of them right now. So the Huawei Watch Elegant is going for $449 and the Huawei Watch Jewel comes in at $549. Speaking of sales, the standard Huawei Watch is also on sale, starting as low as $249.

In regards to functionality, there's nothing new here with these two models. The only difference is on the outside. Huawei did build their smartwatch to be future proof, which is evident with the recent update to Android Wear which utilizes the speaker found in the Huawei Watch. The Huawei Watch is one of the best looking smartwatches out there right now, and has the best battery life - although as is usually the case, it is subjective to how you actually use the smartwatch. We reviewed the Huawei Watch last year, and came away impressed, and it has repeatedly made it into the top 10 best smartwatches, which we rank every single month. So it's definitely a good smartwatch to pick up, especially if you have the money and are willing to spend that much on a smartwatch.
