Huawei Watch Elegant Goes On Sale Through Best Buy

When Huawei launched their Android smartwatch called the Huawei Watch it drew a lot of attention due to the nature of it having the most watch-like design of any smartwatch to date. Like every other smartwatch though what Huawei had on offer wasn't really designed with women in mind. Huawei later revealed two models designed specifically for women, called the Huawei Watch Elegant and the Huawei Watch Jewel, both of which are now listed on the U.S. Google Store as coming soon. The listing for both watches showed up back in the beginning of April and so far they still haven't launched on Google's storefront, they have however gone on sale through other online U.S. retailers.

Recently Best Buy began selling the Huawei Watch Elegant model (listed as the Jewel on their website but this is incorrect) for $449.99 which is listed as being $50 off the retail price. There is no telling how long Best Buy will be offering $50 off the Huawei Watch Elegant but it's likely that the price is a launch sale, after which it will jump back up to $499.99. Best Buy does not have the Huawei Watch Jewel on sale at this time, but they are also not the only U.S. retailer who has these watches in stock.

Both Newegg and B&H Photo are also selling the Huawei Watch Elegant for $449.99 and $499.99 respectively, with Newegg matching Best Buy's $50 off, with the only other difference being that both those retailers have the watch listed as a pre-order, with watches shipping out to buyers starting May 3rd which is listed as the release date. Both Newegg and B&H Photo are also selling the Huawei Watch Jewel for $549.99 and $599.99 respectively, with combinations of white and blue leather straps for the elegant, while Best Buy only seems to be carrying the Elegant model with a white leather strap. Note the release date listing, which is set at May 3rd, which means that the Google Store could end up putting both models on sale starting this Tuesday, although there is no way of knowing whether or not they'll offer the same pricing as Best Buy and Newegg and give customers $50 off for a limited time.
