The Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge are easily the most popular devices Samsung has introduced this year, but they're definitely not the only ones. This Korea-based tech giant has introduced a number of smartphones thus far in 2016, including a number of mid-range 'Galaxy A' models. Now, the Galaxy A9 Pro is one of the most interesting, and also best-specced Galaxy A models out there, and it was announced back in March in China. Now, we've been wondering if the company plans to launch this smartphone elsewhere, and judging by the latest Zauba listing, that might happen soon, read on.

The Galaxy A9 Pro carries the SM-A9100 model number in China, and it seems like its model number will be different in India. The Samsung SM-A910F has been spotted on India's import / export tracking site Zauba. We often stumble upon new devices on Zauba which are imported into India mostly for testing purposes. Now, this suggests that the device might become in India soon, but a separate report claims that the phone will be elsewhere as well. A Polish retailer has reportedly started accepting pre-orders for this phablet, which means Europe might be next in line. The Galaxy A9 Pro is a phablet which sports a 6-inch fullHD (1920 x 1080) Super AMOLED display, 4GB of RAM and 32GB of expandable internal storage. This phablet sports 16-megapixel OIS camera (f/1.9 aperture) on the back, and an 8-megapixel snapper (f/1.9 aperture) up front. Qualcomm's Snapdragon 652 64-bit octa-core processor fuels this phablet, along with the Adreno 510 GPU which is here for graphics rendering. The 5,000mAh battery is also a part of this package, and it is not removable. Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow comes pre-installed on the Galaxy A9 Pro, and on top of it, you'll find Samsung's TouchWiz UI.

The Galaxy A9 Pro is made out of metal, and as you can see in the provided image, its bezels are really thin all around. The physical home key is placed below the display, as it is on other Galaxy-branded smartphones, and that key actually doubles as a fingerprint scanner. The Galaxy A9 Pro is a sleek-looking handset, and as soon as more availability info surfaces, we'll make sure to let you know.
