Deal: Price Drops On Acer Chromebox, Chromebook 15 & R11

If you are in the market for a new Chromebook, then it looks like today might be a good day to pick one up. Especially if you are after an Acer branded Chromebook as the prices have now dropped on a few of the models including the Acer Chromebook R11, the Acer Chromebox CXI2-4GKM and the Acer Chromebook 15.

For those wondering about the difference, the Acer Chromebook R11 is one which makes use of a more novel form factor and allows for use in a number of different positions including a dedicated Tablet mode. This is also a Chromebook which comes boasting some pretty good specs including 2GB RAM, 32GB internal storage and an Intel Celeron (N3150) 1.6 GHz processor. The R11 normally will cost you about $279.99, although the current deal price means you can pick one up for only $253.

The Acer Chromebox CXI2-4GKM won’t be for everyone as this is a Chromebox as opposed to a Chromebook. Which means this is largely designed to be more of a stationary unit and one which makes use (and comes with) a separate keyboard and mouse. While you will need your own monitor to use this option, the specs on offer include 4GB RAM, 16GB internal storage and an Intel Celeron (3205U) 1.5 GHz processor. This is a unit which retails for about $220, although the current price drops have seen the price head below $200 with the Chromebox CXI2-4GKM now available for only $197.

Last but certainly not least is the Acer Chromebook 15. This is easily one of the best Chromebooks you can get for the money as it comes offering a number of market-relevant specs and makes use of a much larger 15.6-inch Full HD display, so for those looking for a more laptop-like experience, this will be the one to go for. The rest of the specs on offer include 4GB RAM, 16GB storage and an Intel Celeron (3205U) Dual-core 1.5 GHz processor. The current price drop on this one sees the price dropping down from $299 to only $249. Making the Chromebook 15 4GB RAM model a seriously good option to currently go for.
