Video: HTC Vive Setup Guide

So you're all geared up for VR, you've got your computer upgraded and you've ordered the HTC Vive.  A few days later a rather large box shows up at your door, and upon opening it you're a little overwhelmed at the contents.  What are all these mounting brackets?  What the heck do these little boxes do, and why won't this headset fit right on my head?  We've got the answer to all these questions and more in our latest video, including the all important driver installs and the regular Windows type of stuff that you might be scratching your head about.

The HTC Vive isn't the most difficult thing in the world to set up, but there are a lot of steps, and you've got to make sure you grab the necessary files, which we've both linked in the video and at the source link below for you, and get those installed prior to setting up your hardware.  Once you've completed that step you're good to go and get get started with unpacking all that hardware in the box and getting your room VR ready.  If you're just curious about what it takes to arrange a full VR setup, or maybe just wondering if your PC can handle it, head on over to the official HTC Vive website for their compatibility checker.  Don't forget to clear at least a couple of feet of space around the room before you get started too.  Happy VRing!
