The Bluboo X9 is a sub-$200 smartphone coming out of China. Although what's surprising about this phone is the build quality as well as Stock Android 5.1 being showcased here. We have a metal frame along with a soft-touch plastic back which is removable. There is a full sized SIM card slot, a micro SIM and micro SD card slot underneath the back cover, and the battery is also removable. The Bluboo X9 is a pretty nice smartphone to check out, and if you haven't already, be sure to check out our full review.
Now we have our video review, which is a bit shorter than reading the full written review, it's a little under 6-minutes long. The Bluboo X9 is a great smartphone to check out. It has some decent battery, a great looking display, and a more than capable processor in the MediaTek MT6753 octa-core 1.3 GHz SoC. It can definitely go that extra mile for you and get everything you need done.
On paper, this is similar to most other Chinese smartphones out there. It's cheap, runs a somewhat old version of Android, and doesn't work on US LTE bands. But it's still a great smartphone. We're looking at 3GB of RAM and 16GB of storage. While 16GB of storage is a bit low for smartphones these days, it does also have a microSD card slot, as mentioned already. Which can support an extra 64GB of storage. Which makes for a pretty great experience, all in all. We used this phone as our daily driver for about 2 weeks and absolutely loved our time with it. While it does have a gold frame, and trim, it doesn't look too terrible, to say the least. It actually looks quite nice, and definitely stands out from the crowd. The camera here isn't perfect, but it's more than capable. The fingerprint sensor is in a pretty genius place, and it looks good as part of that camera module, actually. While the fingerprint sensor isn't 100% accurate, it still works quite well.
You can pick up the Bluboo X9 from Gearbest right now for $145, it's a great smartphone to take a look at. So make sure to check out the full video review below.
