This phone sports a 5.5-inch fullHD display, metal body, 3GB of RAM and is fueled by the Helio X10 SoC.

Both devices OnePlus has introduced in 2015 are available in India, and the OnePlus X is a more affordable offering. This smartphone comes with a 5-inch fullHD panel, 3GB of RAM and is fueled by the Snapdragon 801 quad-core processor. The 13-megapixel shooter is placed on its back, and the device is made out of metal and glass. The phone can be purchased through Amazon India.

Google Nexus 5X is made by LG, and is Google's budget Nexus handset for last year. The new Nexus devices are not expected to arrive until September this year, and if you're looking for a more affordable Nexus device with stock Android, Nexus 5X is your only choice. The Moto X Style is Motorola's current flagship. This 5.7-inch phablet has been available in India for a long time now, and it is quite affordable compared to the competition. This phone is made out of metal, and it ships with an almost stock build of Android which can be upgraded to Android Marshmallow.

The Galaxy Note 5 is still Samsung's most powerful phablet, even though it's not company's flagship any longer. The Galaxy Note 5 sports a 5.7-inch QHD Super AMOLED panel, 4GB of RAM and it also ships with the S Pen stylus, just like its predecessor. The phone isn't exactly affordable in India, but if you're looking for a high-end phablet with a proper stylus, your options are quite limited.

The OnePlus 2 has been one of the best buy devices for quite some time now. The Snapdragon 810-powered smartphone also packs in 4GB of RAM, and the rest of its spec sheet is also quite high-end. The phone lacks wireless charging and NFC, but considering how much it costs, you do get quite a lot in terms of specs, features and performance. The device can be purchased through Amazon India, just like its sibling.

3. Google Nexus 6P


The Huawei-made Nexus 6P is Google's flagship. This phone comes with stock Android on board, and it offers great build combined with great specs. The phone isn't exactly cheap in India, but you do get a lot for the price. The Snapdragon 810 fuels this handset, while you also get 4GB of RAM and a quite capable 12-megapixel rear-facing camera. Android 6.0 Marshmallow comes out of the box, and Android N will be available in the coming months.

The Mi 5 is fueled by the Snapdragon 820 SoC, sports a 5.15-inch fullHD display, and comes in 3GB RAM (+32GB of internal storage) variant in India.

Samsung has introduced two flagships back in February, the Galaxy S7 and the Galaxy S7 Edge. The two devices have lots in common, though they're different in size, design and some software features. Both of these devices sport great design, great camera and top-notch specifications. Do keep in mind that the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge are amongst the priciest smartphones in India, though that was to be expected.
