'Smashy City' Game Lets You Become A Monster & Smash Stuff

There are many different game genres available in the Google Play Store, but it seems like the more simple the game is, the more popular it gets. Remember Flappy Bird, Geometry Dash or Crossy Road? Well, all those games were extremely popular, and their graphics was… well, it wasn’t exactly something processor or GPU intensive, pretty much every smartphone out there was capable of running all those titles.

That being said, we’ve stumbled upon a newer title which reminded us of Crossy Road as far as graphics goes. I installed this game and after running it, I thought that the developer was the same, but that’s not the case. The game in question is ‘Smashy City’, and even though the game reminded me of Crossy Road, the premise is considerably different. Now, your goal is to smash the city to pieces using a lineup of legendary monsters. You’ll need to tear down buildings, crush tanks, houses, cars, and much more. The army will try to stop you from destroying the city, and you basically need to do as much damage as possible before they finally stop you. There are tons of available characters in this game, you start off as a giant gorilla which definitely screams ‘King Kong’ when you look at it, but you can later change to a ton of other characters. You want to smash the city as a penguin or a lizard? How about a giant bunny or perhaps a transformer? Well, you can do that, there are 26 monsters currently available, and we’re sure the developer will add more as time goes by. After you do enough damage, you’ll enable the so-called ‘rampage mode’ in order to do even more damage.

This game is free, though there are in-app purchases available here, just in case you’d like to purchase more characters out of the bat or something. The ‘Smashy City’ comes from ‘Ace Viral’ company, a developing firm behind games like Angry Gran series, Farm All Day, BMX Stunts, StickMan BMX Stunts… and more. There are several official game images in the gallery down below, just in case you’d like to check those out before you download and install this title.
