Huawei has introduced the company’s new flagship devices a couple of days ago, the Huawei P9 and P9 Plus. These two handsets sport a premium design, and high-end specs on the inside, while they do resemble the Huawei P8 line quite a bit. The two devices sport an identical built (aside from the size difference), and a very similar spec sheet. Anyhow, we already have plenty of P9 and P9 Plus coverage on the site, and are here to talk about something else Huawei just introduced, read on.
The company has announced their MediaPad M2 10 tablet back in January during the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas, and the they have just rolled out yet another tablet, the MediaPad T2 10.0 Pro. We’ve talked about this tablet a couple of days ago when it surfaced on a Russian site, and the official listing has just surfaced. The MediaPad T2 10.0 Pro is now listed on the company’s site, but not info regarding pricing or availability can be found there yet. Anyhow, the MediaPad T2 10.0 Pro sports a 10.1-inch 1920 x 1200 IPS display, 2GB / 3GB of RAM and 16GB / 32GB of expandable internal storage. The device is fueled by the Snapdragon 616 64-bit octa-core processor, along with the Adreno 405 GPU. The 8-megapixel snapper can be found on the back of this tablet, and a 2-megapixel shooter is available up front. The 6,660mAh battery is also a part of this package, and it is not removable. Android 5.1 Lollipop comes pre-installed on the MediaPad T2 10.0 Pro, on top of which you’ll find Huawei’s Emotion UI (EMUI) 3.1 skin, as we’ve seen on the company’s previously released devices. It is interesting Huawei did not opt to include Android Marshmallow on top of this device, instead of Lollipop.
This tablet will be available in Black and White color options, while it measures 259.1 x 156.4 x 8.5mm, and weighs 495 grams. This is a well-designed tablet, made out of metal, and it does resemble Huawei’s previously released tablet offerings. That it more or less it, the MediaPad T2 10.0 Pro will be available soon, Huawei is expected to release more info regarding pricing and availability any day now, so stay tuned for that, as always.
