Lenovo Vibe K5 Plus Is Now Available From Amazon For $209

Lenovo is one of the largest China-based smartphone manufacturers, even though it’s still trailing behind Huawei, Xiaomi, Oppo and Vivo, at least according to IDC’s newest data. That being said, Lenovo has introduced several devices this year, including the Vibe K5 and K5 Plus devices which were introduced in Barcelona during the Mobile World Congress (MWC) this year. These are the company’s mid-range offerings, which have been released in India last month as well.

Now, if you live in the US, and you’re interested in Lenovo’s products, you’ll be glad to hear that the Lenovo Vibe K5 Plus is now available in the country via Amazon. Keep in mind that Lenovo is not selling the device directly, but is available through a third party seller (Mobiles International LLC). Anyhow, the device can be purchased for $209, which means that the device is quite a bit more expensive than in India where it costs $128. The Lenovo Vibe K5 Plus is made out of metal and plastic, and it sports capacitive buttons below the display, as you can see in the provided images. Let’s take a look at its specs, shall we.

The Lenovo Vibe K5 Plus features a 5-inch 1080 (1920 x 1080) display, along with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of expandable internal storage. The phone is fueled by the Snapdragon 616 64-bit octa-core processor, along with the Adreno 405 GPU for graphics. The 13-megapixel shooter is placed on the back of this phone, and a 5-megapixel unit is available up front. The 2,750mAh battery is also included here, and it is not removable. Android 5.1 Lollipop comes pre-installed on the Vibe K5 Plus, and on top of it, you’ll find Lenovo’s Vibe UI. Dolby Audio is included here as well, and there are two SIM card slots available as well. The phone measures 142 x 71 x 8mm, while it weighs 142 grams. Now, don’t be fooled by the name of the device listed on Amazon, it says only ‘Vibe K5’, when in fact this is the Vibe K5 Plus considering it is fueled by the Snapdragon 616 processor.
