Download: YouTube Gaming Updated With Various Small Tweaks

One of the most on-topic apps that have emerged from the Google stable of late is YouTube Gaming. For those new to this, this is an app which looks to emulate much of the features on offer with other apps like Twitch. As a result, those interested in streaming their gaming antics, and by the same token, those interested in watching others streaming their gaming antics, now can. All from within an app which adopts a YouTube persona, level of functionality and usage. Well, if you are already an avid YouTube Gaming app user, then you might like to know about a new update which is heading your way. Overall, this is not a major or even a big update and instead is one which adds little in the way of new functionality. However, the update does bring with it a few nice visual and user tweaks, to make the usage of the app an easier one.

The bulk of the update seems to be one which introduces quicker shortcuts to select features. So for instance if you are a viewer, then listings now more clearly show how many live feeds there are for specific games. On the other hand, if you are an uploaded, then the title bar now includes a shortcut to the live streaming option. Omitting the need to head through your own profile and so on. There are also some much smaller tweaks included as well. So now uploader (or streamer) names come with a verified icon, while the 'Top live channels' now comes with the ability to expand the content into another page which offers a greater number of listings.

Overall, that seems to be about the majority of the known details of the update. As to be expected, this is an update which will eventually hit your device in due course. However if you would prefer to push the update to your device sooner rather than later, then you can pull the APK from the link below and sideload to your device in the normal fashion. Alternatively, check out the images below to see the tweaks mentioned in more detail.
