ZTE Introduces The Big Battery Blade D2 Handset
The ZTE Blade D2 T620 is an entry-level handset which has been announced by the company in Thailand. The phone is priced at $120 in the country, and actually packs in a 4,000mAh battery. The rest of its specs are not that impressive though, the phone sports a 5-inch 720p display, 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage. MediaTek’s MT6735P 64-bit quad-core SoC fuels this smartphone, and an 8-megapixel shooter is placed on the back of this phone.
ZTE Blade V580 Mid-Range Handset Gets Announced In Japan
Following the launch of the Blade D2 in Thailand, ZTE has introduced a somewhat higher-end Blade V580 smartphone in Japan. This handset is priced at JPY 27,800 ($245), and it will start shipping March 25th. This smartphone sports a 5.5-inch fullHD (1920 x 1080) display, 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. The device is fueled by MediaTek’s MT6753 64-bit octa-core SoC, and a 3,000mAh battery is also a part of this package. The 13-megapixel rear-facing camera is also available here, while Android 5.1 Lollipop comes out of the box with ZTE’s custom UI on top of it.
Samsung Unveils Galaxy J1 And J1 Mini Entry-Level Handsets
Samsung has announced the entry-level Galaxy J1 and J1 Mini smartphones. The Galaxy J1 has been introduced in Russia, while the Galaxy J1 Mini reached both Russia and Philippines. The Galaxy J1 features a 4.5-inch 800 x 480 Super AMOLED display, 1GB of RAM and it is fueled by the Exynos 3475 quad-core SoC. Android 5.1.1 Lollipop comes pre-installed here, and a 2,050mAh battery is also included in the package. The Galaxy J1 Mini, on the other hand, comes with a 4-inch 800 x 480 TFT panel, 768MB of RAM, and a 1,500mAh battery on the inside. Android 5.1.1 Lollipop is available here as well, and Samsung’s TouchWiz UI will come pre-installed on both fo these phones. The Galaxy J1 is priced at $136, while we still don’t know how much will the Galaxy J1 Mini cost.
Panasonic Releases T50 Entry-Level Handset In India
Panasonic T50 is the newly-announced entry-level handset for the Indian smartphone market. This phone features a 4.5-inch 854 x 480 IPS display, 1GB of RAM and 8GB of expandable internal storage. The phone is fueled by a quad-core SoC running at 1.3GHz, and a 1.600mAh battery is also available here. The 5-megapixel shooter is placed on the back of this phone, and the device is priced at Rs. 5,499 ($82)
