OnePlus Discounts Both OnePlus 2 Models In India


OnePlus 2 has been introduced back in August last year, and is the second flagship OnePlus has introduced. The company has introduced two devices last year actually, the OnePlus 2 and OnePlus X, but the OnePlus 2 is more powerful, despite the fact OnePlus X is also a very nice upper mid-range smartphone. That being said, both of these phones have been available out in the market for quite some time now, and more importantly, OnePlus has ditched the invite system a while back, so you can purchase either of these two devices whenever you want without the need to jump through hoops in order to do so.

The two devices are currently available in a number of regions, India included. Well, those of you who have been planning on purchasing the OnePlus 2 in India, and were still on the fence because of its price… well, you'll be glad to hear that OnePlus 2 has been discounted in the country. OnePlus has decided to cut the price of both 16GB and 64GB OnePlus 2 variants int he country. The standard 16GB model now costs Rs. 20,999, while the 64GB variant of this phone can be purchased for Rs. 22,999 in the country. The OnePlus 2 sports a 5.5-inch fullHD (1920 x 1080) display, along with 3GB / 4GB RAM, and 16GB / 64GB of internal storage. The device is fueled by the Snapdragon 810 64-bit octa-core processor, along with an Adreno 430 GPU for graphics. The 13-megapixel OIS snapper is placed on the back of the device, and a 5-megapixel shooter is available up front. The non-removable 3,300mAh battery is also a part of this package, and Android 5.1 Lollipop comes pre-installed on OnePlus 2. The company's Oxygen UI will come installed on top of Google's operating system, and a Type-C USB port is located on the very bottom of this handset. The OnePlus 2 also sports two SIM card slots, in case you need such functionality.
