Meizu has managed to grow quite a bit in the last couple of years. This company was somewhat unknown in the past, but thanks to a number of great smartphones in the last couple of years, and great pricing, Meizu has managed to become one of the fastest-growing smartphone manufacturers in the world. The company has sold 4.4 million smartphones in 2014, and has managed to raise their sales numbers to 20 million last year. The Meizu PRO 5 is their current flagship, and judging by the leaks, its successor might come sooner than expected.
We've seen tons of Meizu PRO 6 leaks thus far, the phone has surfaced in a number of images, and AnTuTu, GFXBench and Geekbench listings popped up as well recently. That being said, Meizu has already announced two press events for April, and according to reports, the company will introduce the Meizu M3 Note, and their new flagship. Now, the question is, are they going to introduce the MX6 or PRO 6. Well, we'll have to wait and see, but if the leaks are any indication, the PRO 6 seems like a more probable option. This handset has surfaced yet again in two separate sets of images. If you take a look at the first two images in the gallery down below, you'll get to see the images from the first set, while the rest of the images represent the second leak. These two handsets seem identical though, both are sporting the gold color, and seemingly identical design. The device is made out of metal, it sport the 'mBack' physical home button below the display, and two sets of physical home buttons on the right-hand side. Flyme OS is obviously running on the device, and the all-new antenna placement is also included here.
The side bezels on this phone are very, very thin, though the device doesn't seem to offer the 'Dual Edge' display like the S6 Edge, S7 Edge and Vivo Xplay 5, even though such a phone did leak recently as well. You might also notice a rather odd-looking circle below the rear-facing camera, well, it is possible this is a circular LED flash, and the laser autofocus in the middle, but we cannot confirm this just yet. The loudspeaker is once again located on the bottom of the phone, and so is the 3.5mm headphone jack. This phone does resemble the PRO 5 quite a bit, no matter which way you look at it. That's more or less it, stay tuned for more info.
