Huawei Officially Teases P9 Dual Cameras

Chances are good that the latest handset expected from Huawei, the Huawei P9, is currently on your news radar as this is a smartphone which has seen quite the number of leaked images and reports coming through lately. As such, a number of features do seem to be already (un)officially confirmed. One of those features which did come through quite early in the leak news was that the P9 looks set to carry a dual rear camera setup.

A number of leaked images so far have seemed to confirm the use of the dual rear cameras and now it looks as though, Huawei has added to the confirmation as well, thanks to a new official teaser that the company has now sent out for the device. One which clearly focuses on the camera abilities and with imagery which does largely suggest that this will be a dual rear camera device. Of course, with the expected unveiling due to take place on April 6th, it is likely that even more teasers will be coming to light over the next few weeks and ones which will further look to confirm other features and specs for the latest handset from Huawei.

Speaking of which and in terms of those other specs, the most recent details came through only this morning as OppoMart now seems to be listing the P9 (as well as P9 Max and Lite versions) along with a fairly detailed spec list. According to the details from the listing, the Huawei P9 will be a 5.2-inch sized smartphone and will come with a display which make use of a 1920 x 1080 resolution. Inside, the P9 is said to come sporting 3GB RAM and will be powered by a 64-bit Huawei HiSilicon Kirin 950 Octa-core processor. Storage will be reportedly set at 32GB for internal storage, with no firm confirmation on whether this will be expandable. As already mentioned, the cameras on the back look firmly set to be dual (12-megapixel) cameras. While the P9 is listed to be powered by a 3,000 mAh battery and coming running on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) with Huawei's EMUI over the top.
