While most of the public has their eye on the Samsung Galaxy S7, S7 edge, and the LG G5, little information about the latest HTC model is known. The HTC 10 promises to be something to be excited about however now that some information about it has been unveiled on a Romanian shop called QuickMobile. On their website, the HTC 10 is listed as available for pre-orders. In addition, the website unveils more information about the latest HTC smartphone than what is currently available online.
The HTC 10 is believed to have three different models-- one carrying a Snapdragon 652 processor with 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of storage, the second model comes with a Snapdragon 820 processor with 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of storage, and lastly, another Snapdragon 820 variant with 4 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. Apart from the built-in memory, the 10 is said to have a dedicated microSD card slot for up to 200 GB memory expansion. For its display, the device will be available with a 5.15-inch QHD display with a 1440 x 2560 resolution. There's also some rumor about the HTC 10 being equipped with a 12-megapixel camera with 4K video recording and a secondary camera in front. Upon release, the 10 is said to run on the latest Android 6.1 Marshmallow OS and will have the HTC Sense UI running on top of it. The device will be available in Gold, Silver and Gray color options.
On the Romanian phone retailer website, the HTC 10 is available for pre-order for a price of RON 3,300 or $830 for the 32 GB variant. Since the phone is slated to go on sale on April 15, the current price on the website could still change. If the price doesn't change, the HTC 10 will be costing more than the LG G5 or the Samsung Galaxy S7. In fact, it could cost as much as a basic iPhone 6s. For that price, however, pre-orders of the 10 come with a free selfie stick. If you're interested in getting the 10, you may want to wait until April 15 before you sign up for a pre-order model.
