QiKU has been founded back in January last year, and in August they introduced their first smartphones. QiKU has rolled out three devices at the same time, and the QiKU Q Terra is the most powerful one. Well, a couple of days ago, a mysterious QiKU-branded smartphone popped up on AnTuTu with premium specs, which suggested that the company is working on Q Terra's successor. That handset actually sports the Snapdragon 820 SOC, 4GB of RAM and Android 6.0 Marshmallow, amongst other specs.
That being said, QiKU has decided to tease their March 21st event earlier today, and it is possible they plan to introduce the Q Terra's successor on that day. Well, their new flagship might not be the only handset that is going to get announced though, as another QiKU-branded smartphone surfaced on AnTuTu recently. This mysterious smartphone is not exactly as powerful as the one we've seen the other day, but it sure has lots to offer, that much is certain. According to AnTuTu, this handset will ship with a 1080p (1920 x 1080) display, 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. The device will be fueled by MediaTek's Helio X20 64-bit deca-core processor, along with a Mali-T880 GPU for graphics. The 13-megapixel shooter will be placed on the back of this phone, and a 5-megapixel unit will be available up front. Android 6.0 Marshmallow will come pre-installed on this handset, and on top of it, you'll find QiKU's custom UI.
Now, it seems like QiKU is getting ready to launch more than one device, and they both seem compelling in terms of specs. Is QiKU planning to release more than one handset at the same time once again? Well, it is possible, though we're still not sure that will happen on March 21st considering the company's released a rather mysterious teaser. They simply posted the 'F4' teaser on their official Weibo page, which is now called '360 Mobile' for some reason. QiKU is backed by Qihoo 360, but was a separate entity thus far, is it possible QiKU plans to re-brand to 'Qihoo 360' or '360 Mobile'? Well, we'll find out soon, stay tuned for more info, we're fairly certain additional leaks will surface before March 21st event.
