Smartwatches is certainly an area that is gaining in its level of adoption. It is still a long way off being a fully mainstream product, but it is getting closer with each month the passes and each new product that joins an ever-expanding range. The last six months alone have seen a number of high-profile smartwatches coming through. A collective which has injected more momentum into the market. One of those which did come through in the last few months is the next-generation Moto 360 smartwatch and with it, came a number of variants including a nice Sport version.
As you might expect from a Sport version of the Moto 360, this is a smartwatch which is designed to be more suitable for exercising and the gym. This means you can expect a rubber strap instead of leather or metal, as well as an AnyLight Hybrid display for better outdoor viewing during the day and an IP67 rating for water-resistance. In terms of the rest of the specs, the Moto 360 Sport comes equipped with a 1.37-inch screen, 512MB RAM, 4GB internal storage, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 Quad-core processor and is powered by a 300 mAh battery. This is a smartwatch which typically retails for about the $299 marker, however, it seems Amazon currently has the black strap version available for only $252. Which although is still somewhat expensive for a smartwatch, is still the cheapest price the Moto 360 Sport has been available for so far.
