Verizon Confirms Feb 23 Pre-Orders For Galaxy S7 & S7 Edge

Today is easily one of the biggest days in the mobile calendar thanks to the likes of LG and Samsung announcing their latest smartphone arrivals. In term of Samsung, this was the formal unveiling of the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge. Along with their introduction, features and general improvements, Samsung also did provide some basic information on where and when you will be able to pick up the two latest and greatest handsets. Since then a number of the U.S. carriers have been making their intentions known as well. AT&T, Sprint and T-Mobile have all came out with their repetitive announcements and providing confirmation of when you will be able to buy the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge from them, including how much you will look to be paying for both devices. Verizon has also provided some details on their availability, although, the announcement does not confirm any pricing details as yet.

That said, Verizon has now confirmed that they will be stocking both devices and in line with the rest of the U.S. carriers, they will be opening up their pre-orders on Feb 23. Pre-orders through Verizon will commence on Feb 23 at 8am EST and in-store availability will begin from March 11. Not to mention, Verizon has also confirmed they will be stocking all colors of the two devices. This means the Galaxy S7 will be available in Black Onyx and Gold Platinum, while the Galaxy S7 Edge will be available in Black Onyx, Gold Platinum and also Silver Titanium.

Although Verizon has not provided detailed pricing on either of the devices, they have confirmed pricing on a couple of bundles customers will be able to pick up along with the latest smartphones. The bundles include a 'Memory Bundle' which consists of any case (up to $39.99), any display protector (up to $34.99). as well as a 32 GB microSD card. This bundle will be available for only $79.99. Those more concerned about keeping their device powered will be able to pick up a 'Charging Bundle' which includes a Samsung Wireless Fast Charging Stand, Fast Charging car charger and a Samsung Fast Charging Portable Power Pack (10,220 mAh capacity). This bundle will be available for $99.99.
