Teclast Launched X98 Plus Dual-Boot Tablet In Europe

Tablet sales haven't been exactly growing for quite some time now, quite the opposite actually. Various companies are trying to change that, and offer new, compelling tablet offerings to consumers. Well, including two operating systems into one tablet might be a way to do this, and various China-based companies have already released such devices out to the market. We've talked about the upcoming Chuwi Hi12 a while back, a tablet which will pack in really solid hardware, and will come in a dual boot variant soon. Well, we're here to take a look at yet another such tablet offering, read on.

A China-based company called Teclast has launched the Teclast X98 Plus Dual in Europe. This company is well-known for their dual-boot tablets, and the Teclast X98 Plus Dual comes with both Windows and Android pre-installed. Now, this version of Teclast's tablet comes with a European ROM installed on it, which will cater to European consumers, fo course. Teclast has actually been waiting for a CE certificate in order to launch this tablet in Europe, and as soon as they got it, this announcement followed. The company plans to introduce more tablets in Europe in the coming months, so if you're into dual-boot products and live in Europe, this company might be worth your time.

As far as specs go, Teclast X98 Plus Dual features a 9.7-inch 2048 x 1536 IGZO display, 4GB of DDR3 RAM and 64GB of native storage. The tablet is powered by Intel's Cherry Trail T3 Z8300 processor running at 1.8GHz. The 5-megapixel camera is placed on the back of this tablet, and the device itself is only 7.8mm thick. The 2-megapixel snapper can be found up front, and an 8,000mAh battery is available on the inside of this tablet. The Teclast X98 Plus Dual comes with a metallic frame, and resembles some already released devices out there in terms of the design, but only because we're talking about a mainstream design in a way. That is more or less it, if you're interested in this tablet, we unfortunately still don't know how much will it cost, but you can take a look at other Teclast products by clicking here.
