Samsung Galaxy S7, S7 Edge go up for Pre-Order at Unlocked Mobiles

While the Samsung Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge went up for pre-order at most retailers earlier this week, UK retailer Unlocked Mobiles opened up pre-orders today. For those looking to pre-order the Galaxy S7 or the Galaxy S7 Edge, Unlocked Mobiles is offering a free speaker and case for those that choose them as their retailer. Unlocked Mobiles is pricing the Galaxy S7 at £549.98 SIM free, and the Galaxy S7 Edge at £619.98 SIM free. These are the 32GB models as well. Unlocked Mobiles is offering the two devices in black or gold (essentially the same as what the US is getting).

The speaker in which customers will be getting, is a Samsung EO-SG900 in silver, which would normally go for around £90. There's also the black Redneck Prima Wallet Folio case that would normally be priced at £15.99. Not a bad incentive to pre-order either of Samsung's new flagship Android smartphones from Unlocked Mobiles. Other retailers and carriers in the UK are also offering up incentives to pre-order either the Galaxy S7 or the Galaxy S7 Edge, which will be available in over 60 countries on March 11th. Unlocked Mobiles is also offering free overnight shipping on both devices for those that pre-order.

On Sunday, Samsung took the wraps off of the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge at their Unpacked event in Barcelona just ahead of Mobile World Congress. Their press conference was partly in VR, which showed just how invested they truly are in virtual reality. The internal specs of both the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge are pretty similar. Looking at an Exynos 8890 processor (while the US has the Snapdragon 820), along with 4GB of RAM, 12-megapixel camera around back, 32GB of storage and a microSD card slot has made its return. The Galaxy S7 features a smaller 5.1-inch 2560x1440 resolution sAMOLED display, along with a 3000mAh battery that is still non-removable. The Galaxy S7 Edge has a larger 5.5-inch 2560x1440 resolution sAMOLED curved display. It features a massive 3600mAh battery - which should definitely solve the battery issues from the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge.

Both of these devices from Samsung are fantastic and should sell pretty well for the South Korean manufacturer. If you haven't already pre-ordered, now is definitely the time to do so.
