Rumor: Three Storage Variants For HTC One M10, Including 16GB

With MWC now over and the Samsung Galaxy S7 (and Edge) and the LG G5 unveiled and their specs and features confirmed, much of the hype and attention will be turning to the next big flagship launch to take place. For this year, that increasingly looks likely to be an HTC event where the company will unveil their next in line flagship device, the HTC Perfume. Otherwise known as the HTC One M10. In fact, while MWC was still going on, new rumors and new images began to surface of the One M10, including an official tease from HTC.

To briefly recap on what is expected, most of the rumors seems to be suggesting that the next in line One M handset will come boasting a 5.2-inch display which (most likely) makes use of a 2560 x 1440 resolution. Inside, the rumors are suggesting 4GB RAM and the device is expected to come powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor. Earlier today it was reported that the One M10 will come with a "compelling camera experience" and now it seems there are some more details coming through.

According to known tipster, @LlabTooFeR, the One M10 will be available in multiple storage variants. This is a little surprising as it does seem most of the major flagship manufacturers have communally decided that 32GB along with a microSD card slot is the way to go. It was thought that HTC would also be in this camp and bring the One M10 with just 32GB storage, along with a microSD card slot. However, according to @LlabTooFeR that is not the case. The One M10 will be available in a 32GB model and also will be available in a 64GB model. But here is the kicker, it would seem that the HTC One M10 will also be available in a 16GB model. It is not currently clear if all these variants will come sporting a microSD card slot as well, although it would be presumed to be the case as the 16GB model would certainly need expandable storage. @LlabTooFeR does point out that the storage variants will be determined by market. So it could be the case that some regions get the bigger storage variants and others receive the lesser 16GB model. Although, at the moment, which market getting which remains to be seen.
