Motorola has introduced a number of really interesting smartphones last year. The Moto G (2015), Moto X Play and Moto X Style arrived back in August, and the Moto X Force was introduced in November last year. All of these phones are quite compelling, but the Moto X Force (aka Droid Turbo 2) is arguably the most interesting one. This handset sports a 'Shatterproof display', great specs, and a beefy battery on the inside. The device has been available for purchase for quite some time now in the US, and has reached India earlier this month, on February 1st.
That being said, the device has been available for purchase from Flipkart, Amazon India and Snapdeal, and a number of retailers joined that list today. The Moto X Force will be available from over 400 retail stores across large format chains like Spice Hotspot, Chroma, Vijay Sales and Poorvika. In addition to all those, the device will also going to be available with easy EMI options on select bank credit cards. The device has been available from Amazon India, Snapdeal and Flipkart for Rs. 49,999 ($730), and it was to be expected that the price will be rather similar in various retail stores as well. The rollout has already started, and the devices should be available in stores soon, if they aren't already.
As previously mentioned, the Moto X Force actually sports really solid specs on the inside. The device features a 5.4-inch QHD (2560 x 1440) Super AMOLED 'Shattershield' display, along with 3GB of RAM and 32GB / 64GB of expandable internal storage. The device is fueled by the Snapdragon 810 64-bit octa-core processor, along with an Adreno 430 GPU for graphics. The 21-megapixel camera is placed on the back of this phone, along with the dual-LED, dual tone flash. The 5-megapixel snapper can be found up front, and a 3,760mAh battery is available on the inside as well. Speaking of which, this battery offers Turbo charging, and also supports PMA and Qi wireless charging, in case that's your thing. This is a dual-SIM handset which ships with Android 5.1.1 Lollipop pre-installed (upgradeable to Android Marshmallow). The device measures 149.8 x 78 x 7.6-9.2mm, while it weighs 169 grams.
