LeEco's Flagship Le Max Phablet Now Available In India

LeEco (formerly known as Letv) has introduced 5 smartphones thus far. This company is very well-known in China, but they've entered the smartphone business in April last year. LeEco has introduced the Le 1, Le 1 Pro and Le Max devices back then, and the Le 1s was announced later in the year. The company actually made an appearance at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas last month where they introduced the world's first Snapdragon 820-powered handset, the Le Max Pro.

That being said, LeEco has introduced their Le 1s and Le Max handsets in India quite recently, and Le 1s has been available for purchase through flash sales for some time now. Well, LeEco has actually decided to make the Le Max available in the country as well, this phablet is now available for open purchase exclusively through Flipkart. Keep in mind that this phablet actually comes with a discount up to Rs. 20,000 in exchange for old phones, just in case you'd like to exchange something. Flipkart also offers Rs. 1,500 off for Axin Bank Debit and Credit Card consumers, while you can get Rs. 1,250 off if you purchase the device through EMI With SBI Credit Cards. The 64GB and 128GB variants of this device are available in India. The 32GB model comes in Silver color, and is priced at Rs. 32,999. The 128GB model, on the other hand, costs Rs. 36,999, and comes in Gold color.

The LeEco Le Max features a 6.33-inch QHD (2560 x 1440) display with Corning's Gorilla Glass 3 protection on top of it. This device packs in 4GB of DDR4 RAM, and as already mentioned, comes in 64GB and 128GB variants in India. This phablet is fueled by the Snapdragon 820 64-bit quad-core SoC, along with an Adreno 430 GPU for graphics. The 21-megapixel OIS shooter (Sony's IMX230 sensor, PDAF included, f/2.0 aperture) is placed on the back of the Le LMax, and a 4-megapixel snapper (2-micron pixel size, 81.6-degree wide-angle lens) can be found up front. The 3,400mAh battery is also a part of this package, and a fingerprint scanner can be found on the back of this phablet. Android 5.0 Lollipop comes out of the box, and LeEco's EUI skin is placed on top of Google's OS.
