LeEco Sold 1 Million Le 1s Smartphones In December Alone

LeEco (formerly known as Letv) is a well-known brand in China. This company has been around for quite some time now, and despite the fact they've been quite successful in China, they haven't been manufacturing smartphone until last year. LeEco has introduced three devices back in April last year, three devices that have been selling quite well in Asia. The company has introduced the Le 1s later in the year, and the Le Max Pro arrived during CES last month. The Le Max Pro is actually the first Snapdragon 820-powered device introduced to the public, but it's not available just yet.

That being said, LeEco has recently introduced the Le Max and Le 1s device in India, and it seems like Indian users are quite interesting in these two phones, at least judging by a number of registrations for flash sales (300,000+ in 5 days). LeEco constantly releases their sales figures, and thanks to the company's latest update, we now know that LeEco managed to sell 1 million Le 1s smartphone last month. The company has sold over 5 million smartphones to date, LeEco confirmed about a week ago. Now, according to a recent research by Sino Market Research agency, LeEco ranks among the top 3 performing mobile developers in China.

It is undeniable that LeEco is growing in the smartphone world, this company started selling their devices less than a year ago, and they've managed not only to sell quite a few phones to date, but have also managed to intrigue consumers. LeEco is currently selling the vast majority of their devices in Asia, but they're planning to enter the US market really soon. LeEco is already selling accessories in the US, but their smartphones will arrive soon as well, even though we still don't know the exact timeframe.

The Le 1s seems to be LeEco's best selling smartphone thus far, which is not all that surprising considering it does offer really does offer really sleek build, solid spec sheet, and it doesn't cost all that much at all. This smartphone sports a 5.5-inch fullHD display, 3GB of RAM, and is powered by the Helio X10 64-bit octa-core processor. The 13-megapixel ISOCELL camera is placed on the back of this device, and the phone is made out of metal. It will be interesting to see what will LeEco's sales numbers look like at the end of the year, that's for sure.
