As USB Type-C is starting to gain in popularity, we've started seeing more and more accessories come out that use USB Type-C ports. From cables to flash drives, and even hubs that work with your Chromebook Pixel 2 and Apple Macbook. There are some great ones out there, and with USB Type-C being the future, there will only be more available.
CableCreations USB Type-C Hub
This hub from CableCreations is a pretty special one. It's not really meant for your smartphone, but works great with the Chromebook Pixel 2 and Macbook. It brings a USB Type-C port, a HDMI port and a USB 3.1 port into the hub. Making it a great hub for those that need a bit more space, seeing as the Chromebook Pixel 2 only has two ports, and the Macbook has just one.CableCreations USB Type-C Hub
Yoozon 1-Meter long USB Type-C Cable
I know what you're thinking, does this USB-C cable have the proper spec, and yes it does. This Yoozon 1-meter cable has been approved by Benson Leung, and works just great. It's a USB-A to USB-C cable which means it'll work great for plugging into your computer, whether that's to flash a factory image or something else.Yoozon 1-meter long USB Type-C Cable
SanDisk USB-C 32GB Flash Drive
This flash drive from SanDisk has a USB Type-A port on one side with a USB Type-C port on the other. It's great because it means you can plug it into your smartphone and add 32GB of storage. Great for watching movies, or saving pictures on your smartphone. Especially if you don't have a whole lot of storage.SanDisk USB-C 32GB Flash Drive
Kingston Digital 64GB USB-C Flash Drive
Kingston has also made their own USB-C flash drive here. Although the big difference between the SanDisk version and this, is that there is no USB Type-A port on one end. It also has more storage, as it is a 64GB flash drive and can be used with your smartphone as well as your Chromebook Pixel 2 or your Macbook.Kingston Digital 64GB USB-C Flash Drive
Aukey 4-port USB Type-C Hub
This hub from Aukey has 4 USB Type-A ports, along with a USB Type-C port and it can plug into a USB Type-C port. A great addition to anyone who bought the Macbook or Chromebook Pixel 2 as they have limited ports. It's in aluminum, which makes for a pretty decent hub for the desk.Aukey 4-port USB Type-C Hub
Satechi Type-C USB 3.0 3 in 1 Combo Hub
Now this hub from Satechi, brings you everything that you need. It features two USB 3.0 ports (which are backwards compatible to USB 2.0), along with another USB Type-C port, a micro SD card slot and a regular sides SD card slot. Perfect for those that need more room after buying a Macbook or Chromebook Pixel 2.
CHOE USB Type-C Rapid Wall Charger
This wall charger from CHOE is a great one to pick up. It's a single-port USB Type-C wall adapter which will charge your Nexus 6P and Nexus 5X pretty quickly. Now, unfortunately, the cable is not included so you will have to buy that separately (although there are plenty of cable options listed in this top 10).
Tronsmart USB Type-C Car Charger
Tronsmart has put together a pretty nice USB Type-C car charger here. It's a 33W car charger as well. But the best thing about this is the fact that it also has a USB Type-A port along with it. Allowing you to charge other devices that aren't USB Type-C and still allow yourself to be future proof for a bit. Similar to the CHOE wall charger listed above, there is no cable included with this one either.
iOrange-E USB Type-C to Type-C Cable
This cable from iOrange-E is a USB Type-C to USB Type-C cable, meaning it's completely reversible. It's also a braided cable, so it should – in theory – be durable to last quite a while. It's a bit more pricey than some of the others on this list, and that's largely due to it being a braided cable.
