With MWC fast approaching, there is always usually a number of leaks coming through and this year has been no different with snippets of information coming through fairly routinely. Just this morning, Samsung's own developer site effectively confirmed the arrival of the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge. However, leaks rarely provide full information and certainly not from a source which can be said to be a solid confirmation. However, that is the case today as it seems two unannounced Alcatel OneTouch devices have now been spotted on the company's own support site. These are the Alcatel OneTouch Idol 4 and the OneTouch Idol 4S.
Based on the information leaked, the smaller of the two new devices is the Alcatel OneTouch Idol 4. This is a smartphone which comes equipped with a 5.2-inch display which makes use of a 1920 x 1080 resolution. Inside, the OneTouch Idol 4 comes loaded with either 2GB RAM or 3GB RAM and is powered by a Snapdragon 617 Octa-core processor. In terms of storage there looks to be 16GB internal storage on offer, while there is also the option to expand, thanks to the inclusion of a microSD card slot. Moving on to the cameras and the OneTouch Idol 4 comes equipped with a 13-megapixel rear camera, which is coupled with an 8-megapixel front-facing camera. Additional features on offer include a 2,610 mAh battery while the device comes running on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) out of the box.
Moving on and the bigger of the two devices is the Alcatel OneTouch Idol 4S. In terms of the specs, this one comes boasting a 5.5-inch display which makes us of a 2560 x 1440 resolution. Inside, the OneTouch Idol 4S comes equipped with 3GB RAM and is powered by a Snapdragon 652 Quad-core processor. A processor which is the renamed Snapdragon 620 and had previously been expected to come on the OneTouch Idol 4. In terms of storage, 32GB internal storage is on offer and it does also look like there will be microSD card support as well. While in terms of cameras, this one comes boasting a 16-megapixel rear camera which is coupled with a an 8-megapixel front facing camera. Additional features include a 3,000 mAh battery and this smartphone also comes running on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) out of the box.
Of course, the one aspect which has not been leaked is the likely price of the two devices and as such, this is an aspect which will likely have to be waited for MWC to be confirmed. That is, as long as these are devices which are set to be unveiled at the event
