Showtime Anytime Now Available On Android TV

Android TV is a nicely progressing platform. It is not the quickest progressing platform, but is nicely moving along at a slow and steady pace. Android TV devices are slowly expanding in numbers and apps are (slightly more quickly) becoming updated and arriving on the platform. Speaking of which, another new app has now popped up on Android TV for your downloading pleasure.

The latest app arrival is the Showtime Anytime app. This is the app which is designed for those who want to make use of a Showtime subscription in a more natural capacity on Android TV devices. As such, this will be a welcomed addition to those who have been waiting for the app to arrive, as it does seem to have taken its time in becoming available and especially compared to some of the other content provider options. Of course, the downside is that if you do not have an already available Showtime subscription, then this app will not be of much use to you. However, if you are after a Showtime app and do not currently have a Showtime subscription then you can download the other Showtime app which was released a couple of months ago. In comparison to the new one, the other Showtime app allows users to set up a monthly on-the-go subscription to just use the app. No normal Showtime TV ongoing subscription needed.

In terms of Showtime Anytime, this is a free to download app. Those interested in downloading the app can do so by heading to the Google Play Store on your Android TV device. Alternatively, head through the link below to the Google Play Store on your desktop or mobile web browser and select the Android TV device to install on. If you do not have an Android TV device, but do have a Chromecast, it is also worth noting that the app can be downloading to your Android smartphone and tablet and cast to your TV using your Chromecast. This is due to the app not being a dedicated Android TV app, but the normal Android Showtime Anytime app which now comes with Android TV support included.
