Oppo is a rather well-known Chinese smartphone manufacturer which has managed to sell 50 million smartphones in 2015. This number might be surprising to some of you, but Oppo's products are actually quite popular in Asia. That being said, this company hasn't exactly announced many devices last year, but some of them were rather interesting, like the Oppo R7 and R7 Plus, for example. Well, the company has decided to push two additional handsets out to the market, and has just announced the Oppo F1 and Oppo F1 Plus in India, read on.
The Oppo F1 is a mid-range offering by the company, though it does sport really interesting specs. The Oppo F1 features a 5-inch 720p (1280 x 720) 2.5D display with Corning's Gorilla Glass 4 on top of it. The device is fueled by the Snapdragon 616 64-bit octa-core processor, along with an Adreno 405 GPU for graphics. The 13-megapixel shooter (f/2.2 aperture, PDAF) is placed on the back of this smartphone, and an 8-megapixel snapper (f/2.0 aperture) can be found up front. The 2,500mAh battery is also a part of this package, and Android 5.1 Lollipop comes pre-installed here with Oppo's Color OS 2.1 on top fo it. The phone also offers 3GB of RAM, and 16GB of internal storage (expandable up to 128GB via a microSD card).This is a dual-SIM handset (hybrid dual-SIM), and it measures 143.5 x 71 x 7.25mm, while it weighs 134 grams.
The Oppo F1 Plus, on the other hand, offers a somewhat better specs on the inside, and is a bit bigger than its sibling. The F1 Plus sports a 5.5-inch 1080p (1920 x 1080) 2.5D curved glass IPS display with Corning's Gorilla Glass 4 on top of it. This smartphone is fueled by the Helio P10 64-bit octa-core processor, while the same Mali-T860 MP2 GPU is available here as well. The phone also ships with 4GB of RAM on the inside, and will come with 32GB / 64GB of internal storage (expandable up to 128GB via a microSD card). The 13-megapixel shooter will be placed on the back of this device as well, and the phone sports a 16-megapixel snapper up front.
The Oppo F1 will come in gold color option only, and is priced at Rs. 15,990 in India. The device will be available in 8 cities in the country starting from February 1st. The Oppo F1 Plus, on the other hand, will cost you Rs. 26,990, and will be available for purchase sometime in April according to the company.
