Motorola has been creating interesting devices for a while, their phones might not be the slimmest ones or the most premium offerings out there, but their designs are surely distinctive and they offer a lot of customization options. Their second-generation Moto 360 smartwatch continued to be among the better-looking ones and it also offers customization to some extent. Moto Maker is the tool where users get to choose the color of their smartphone, there’s a wide variety of back colors and even different materials for them, plus, there are some more color options for the metallic accents. Users can also choose the color of the case for the Moto 360 and several bands made with different materials from the Moto Maker. Another good aspect about all of these devices is that they are usually sold at lower prices than some offerings from the competition, and now, the company is making the deal a little sweeter with additional savings to commemorate Valentine’s Day.
The Moto 360 is available in two sizes, one with a 46 mm diameter and another one with a 42 mm diameter, the latter one has a special edition designed for women with optional rose gold accents. After choosing the color combination for the case and bezel and its finish, users get to choose the type of band they would like. If they choose a metal band, they will get an additional leather band for free, so they can choose the one to match certain outfits. The third generation Moto G is a great mid-range device, this time, the company added IPX7 certification for water and dust protection and an upgraded camera, plus, it can now be purchased from the Moto Maker so users get to choose the accent color and the one of the removable back. Still, there might be times where users get bored of their choice, so Motorola is now offering 2 extra shells for additional style options.
Motorola partnered with designer Jonathan Adler to design custom limited edition back covers for their flagship smartphone, the Moto X Pure Edition, giving this phone an artistic look. There are three designs available, including Honeycomb pattern, Half Circle style, and Bridget style. The phone with those exclusive covers was priced at $474.99, but users can now get it for $399.99. All of the deals are available on Motorola’s site through February 16th. Finally, users who buy the Droid Turbo 2 from Verizon can get a second one with 50% off until February 25.
