LG Says K4, K5 And K8 Smartphones Are Coming

As you probably already know, LG has introduced two new handsets during CES earlier this month, the K7 and K10. These two smartphones can be considered to be entry-level devices, but it seems like they won't be the only 'K' devices LG will release this year. LG Mobile has released names of their upcoming 'K' smartphone models on the company's official Facebook page, read on.

If you take a look at the provided image, you'll get to see LG's 'Find Your Own Style' teaser, which contains not only the names of LG G7 and K10 which have been released already, but also the K4, K5 and K8 namings. LG has, unfortunately, not mentioned any details about these upcoming phones, but you can expect them to be entry-level or mid-range once announced. LG considers their 'K' devices to be mid-range in general, so... that's that. Now, as for the K7 and K10, LG has posted an official promo video yesterday, in case you'd like to check it out. As far as specs of these phones go, let's start with the K7. This smartphone sports a 5-inch 854 x 400 display, along with 1 or 1.5GB of RAM and 8 or 16GB of internal storage. The device ships with Android 5.1 Lollipop with LG's custom UI available on top of it. The K10, on the other hand, features a 5.3-inch 720p (1280 x 720) display, 1 / 1.5 / 2GB of RAM and 8 / 16GB of internal storage. This handset also comes with Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box, and as you can see, it offers somewhat better specs compared to its smaller sibling.

We don't know when will the other 'K' devices arrive, but it seems like LG is preparing to launch a very important device during MWC next month. Now, some reports are indicating that the company might unveil the LG G5 sooner than expected. The G5 was expected to arrive in April, but according to the latest reports, the device might get announced at the end of February. We still can't confirm this, of course, but one thing is for sure, LG is preparing something really interesting to show us next month. That's pretty much it, stay tuned for further 'K' line news, as well as G5 info, we're sure that more information will surface soon.
