Hands-On With Sony's Extra Bass Bluetooth Speakers

Sony took to their stage today to announce a number of their 2016 products. One of those announcements was for a new line of audio equipment which is being dubbed the 'h.ear' series and these were announced along with some new products that are joining their 'Extra Bass' series. Both groups of products includes new headphones, earphones and also Bluetooth speakers. Needless to say, the Extra Bass series are audio products which are designed to give you a little extra punch in the bass department. While also coming in a variety of colors to offer a more modern and customizable choice.

Following the initial announcement, we were able to get some brief hands on time with the newly announced products which you can check out in the gallery below. In total, the Extra Bass latest arrivals come in the form of the SRS-XB2, SRS-XB3, and the GTK-XB7 series, although, if you are wondering, the gallery below is currently missing the GTK-XB7 - which is the most powerful of the three. Both the SRS-XB2 and SRS-XB3 series of speakers come equipped with Bluetooth and NFC support, while the latter also comes equipped with a USB port which doubles as a power bank so that you can charge your smartphones when needed.
