This week at CES in Las Vegas, Alcatel OneTouch who is the fourth largest smartphone maker in North America, unveiled a slew of new products. Including three sizes of their Pixi 4 line up of smartphones and tablet. Alcatel OneTouch has been looking to get out of just being known for cheap, low-end smartphones and into the more mid-range and even the high-end smartphones. Last year they unveiled the Idol 3 which was a very popular smartphone for the company, and one of the most talked about devices of 2015. Now they are following 2015 up with a pretty good start to 2016.
The Alcatel OneTouch Pixi 4 comes in 4 sizes. There's a 3.5-inch model, 4-inch smartphone, a 6-inch phablet and a 7-inch tablet that are part of the all-new Pixi 4 line up. These are all somewhat lower-end smartphones from Alcatel OneTouch, with them running on the Snapdragon 210 processor, along with 8GB of storage and an 8-megapixel shooter on board. Alcatel OneTouch hasn't yet released details on availability and pricing, but you can best believe that these will be very cheap. And likely won't come to the US, except on Boost Mobile, Virgin Mobile or T-Mobile, like some of their other low-end and mid-range smartphones have.
