BlackBerry PRIV UK Availability Now Extended To EE

The BlackBerry PRIV continues to be a device which attracts attention. What was once the sole property of BlackBerry's own website and AT&T, the PRIV is now starting to see its availability widen. In fact, it was only this week when a firm confirmation came through that the PRIV will be available to buy from T-Mobile starting from next week. However, it is not only the U.S. that is seeing its availability increase. If you happen to live in the UK then it now looks like your availability is expanding as well, with the PRIV now available to buy from EE.

For those interested in picking up the BlackBerry PRIV on EE, there are quite a few options to choose from. For the lowest up front cost, the PRIV can be picked up on an 'EE Extra' plan for £29.99. This is a two year contract and offers 10GB data as well as unlimited talk and text. Although the monthly plan cost is £54.99. If you are after a cheaper monthly outlay, then there are two £42.49 per months plans available. The most basic of which offers 1GB data, 1000 minutes and unlimited texts and the down payment for this one is £99.99. The other lower monthly plan includes 2GB data and unlimited calls and texts, although there is a slightly higher down payment of £109.99. The plan which EE states is their best selling plan offers 4GB data and unlimited calls and texts and all for a monthly £49.99 with a down-payment of also £49.99.

Those needing a quick cap on what is on offer with the BlackBerry PRIV, this is a device which comes equipped with a 5.4-inch Quad-HD display. Inside, the PRIV comes loaded with 3GB RAM, 32GB storage and comes powered by a 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 Hexa-core processor. Cameras on offer consist of an 18-megapixel rear camera, which is coupled with a more modest 2-megapixel front-facing option. The PRIV comes powered by a 3,410 mAh battery and of course, is the first BlackBerry device to come running on Android, with 5.1 (Lollipop) currently in effect.
