We're just a few days out from the official start of CES 2016, which is this Wednesday. Alcatel OneTouch have just taken the wraps off of a number of products they are showcasing at the show in Las Vegas. Alcatel OneTouch is announcing a line of PIXI 4 devices that include a 3.5-inch and a 4-inch smartphone, a 6-inch phablet and a 7-inch tablet. Alcatel OneTouch is touting that these are "premium entry-level devices" and that they also offer a great user experience in a few key areas. Including the design, audio, camera and battery life. Alcatel OneTouch touts that the PIXI 4 gives customers the best design and feature-set in the entry-level market today. Alcatel OneTouch is also announcing a PIXI 3 8-inch Windows Tablet, and it is running Windows 10 Mobile.
The final product that the company is announcing today is the CareTime Children's Watch. Now it may seem a bit silly for kids to have a smartwatch, but that is indeed the world we live in today, unfortunately. The CareTime watch from Alcatel OneTouch is a great choice for keeping your kids safe and in contact with you. It runs on 2G or EDGE speeds, may seem slow, but with what it does that's about all you need. A few features of the CareTime watch here is that parents are able to send voice messages to their children's CareTime watch. Additionally, they can call them. The kids are able to reply to 10 pre-set contacts, and are able to call up to 5 registered numbers. This way you know your child isn't calling someone they shouldn't be. There is also GPS built into the watch, which will inform parents where their kids are. Finally, using the app, the CareTime watch will notify parents when their children leave a safe zone, which the parent has pre-set.
These devices will all be on display at CES in Las Vegas this week, when the actual show opens up on Wednesday. We'll be getting hands on with the new PIXI 4 line as well as the CareTime Children's Watch later on in the week, so stay tuned for that.
