'Waker' Alarm App Can Talk You Into Getting Out Of Bed

Smartphones these days have a number of basic phone functions old cellphones had, like making phones, sending SMS messages, but there are also pre-installed applications in there which are pretty much standard across all platforms and have been around since cellphone era. One such application is an alarm clock, which many of us actually use on our smartphones, instead of using an actual alarm clock which has become a thing of the past for a number of people. As it's the case with pretty much every pre-installed app on Android, there's a substitute third-party offering in the Google Play Store for alarms as well. There are tons of third-party alarms available for download, many of which actually bring a layer of functionality to the table. The app we're here to talk about is definitely such an app, read on.

The app in question is 'Waker: Real Voice Alarm Clock'. Now, unlike regular alarm clock apps, this app can actually talk to you, well, in a way. Instead of having annoying ringtones wake you up every morning, you can set Waker app to play something else for you. There are a couple of 'alarm' categories available from within the app, like Motivation Waker, Amusing Waker and Jingle Waker. These categories are pretty much self-explanatory, but let's talk a bit about them anyhow. The Motivation Waker contains a number of pre-recorded positive thoughts and motivation speeches available, so you can basically get a motivation speaker to talk you into getting up. The Amusing Waker can tell various jokes to you until you get up, while the Jingle Waker has a number of fun jingles available for you to use as a standard alarm.

The design of this app is rather nice as well, it's easy on the eyes, which is always a plus. Now, it is also worth mentioning that you can, of course, set a vibration as an alarm within the app, and also shuffle between the categories if you want that. The app is free to use, but it does contain in-app purchases. If you're interested, click on the Google Play Store banner down below.
