Holiday Tech Gift Ideas 2015-2016: Televisions

What's a better last-minute gift than to pick up a brand new TV? TV's have all sorts of features, including WiFi, Android TV, Roku and many more. We've rounded up three of our favorite in this edition of the Tech Gift Ideas, which you can find down below.

Sony KDL50W800C 50-Inch 1080p 3D Smart LED TV

This TV here from Sony is a great TV because not only is it a 50-inch 1080p TV, but it also has Android TV built-in. So you can watch your favorite shows on Netflix, Hulu, and other services, but also play some of your favorite Android games that have been adapted for the big screen. Android TV also has support for HBO Now, so if you don't have Cable or Satellite but want HBO, you can sign up for that independently.

Samsung UN55JU6500 55-Inch 4K Ultra HD Smart LED TV

Samsung has a number of 4K Ultra HD TV's as well, including this 55-inch model which is also a Smart LED TV. So you can use WiFi to watch Netflix, Hulu, HBO Go and so much more. This 4K Ultra HD TV also has an amazing picture, and it comes in at under $1000 which is pretty hard to imagine right now. It also features 4 HDMI ports and 3 USB ports on the back of the TV.

LG Electronics 32LF5600 32-Inch 1080p LED TV

Here's a slightly smaller TV this time, from LG. It's a 32-inch 1080p TV. It isn't even a smart TV, which means it's going to be cheaper than most other 32-inch TV's out there. It does have a 1080p display which makes everything look amazing, and with most services broadcasting in 1080p, you don't really need 4K just yet, although it will future proof your living room. It's an LED TV so it's going to look great, even in dark rooms. There are also 2 HDMI ports as well as a USB port on the back for connecting your favorite peripherals, including an Xbox, PlayStation 4 or even a new Chromecast.
