With the Holidays here, the last few weeks have seen a ton of announcements coming through and detailing various promotions and freebies that companies, carriers, retailers and manufacturers have been doing or giving away. To give you an example, Samsung started a promotion last week where if you buy the Galaxy Tab S2 from them, they will give you a year's worth of free Netflix. That said, one of the more interesting promotions which came through over the last few weeks was from Sprint. To recap, if you were to buy or lease one of a select few Samsung Galaxy Smartphones from Sprint, you would get a free 32-inch LED HD TV thrown in for nothing. Well, it now looks like Sprint is not the only carrier that you can take advantage of this deal with, as Best Buy has now launched what is essentially the same deal.
The latest deal from Best Buy follows pretty much along the same lines as the one from Sprint, with one big exception - you can also bag yourself a free TV if you are a Verizon or AT&T customer as well. In terms of the deal, if you buy (or lease) a select Samsung Galaxy smartphone through Best Buy then you can pick up a Samsung 32-inch LED HDTV (worth a reported $229.99 value) for free. The smartphone selection forming the basis of the deal includes the Samsung Galaxy S6, Galaxy S6 Edge, Galaxy S6 Edge+ or the Galaxy Note 5. Once again, this promo applies to devices bought outright or through a contract/installment plan from Sprint, as well as Verizon and AT&T.
For those thinking about taking part in the promotion, Best Buy details that the promotion is now live (actually started yesterday) and will run through until January 2nd, 2016. The fine print does also note that this is a 'limited quantity' deal so you might find the promotion ends sooner than stated, if the allocated number of free TVs are all gone.
