Featured: Top 10 Android Apps For A Night Out

With the Holiday season now upon us, many will be getting into the party spirit and quite likely planning a few nights out to celebrate the Holidays or ring in the new year. Whatever the reason for hitting the town, there are a number of Android apps available which are designed to help make a night out on the town a more enjoyable and easier experience. If you are planning any nights out in the near future, then there are ten Android apps you might want to check out.

YPlan - Live Your City

First off, you will need to figure out where you intend to go for your night out. If you do not already have a place in mind, then YPlan might be worth checking out. This app looks to bring you all the best events that are in your area or local to where you are. As well as showing you what's on, the app will even let you grab some tickets too.

Untappd - Discover Beer

If you are more into your beers and would like to find somewhere new to sink a few, then Untappd is always worth checking out. This app will make sure you are up to speed on all the local places nearby, the best place for craft beers and just everything beer related.

Tablelist

Of course, if you are more looking for a nice late night spot to head to, then Tablelist looks to be your guide to the best and hottest tables around. Whether you are looking for a nightclub table or late night lounge table, Tablelist will show you what's on, let you book a table or bottle service and make sure everything is in place for your grand arrival.

Fixr - Clubbing & Nightlife

Another good option for those looking for the right nightspot and club is Fixr. This is an app which recently got a nice makeover and now comes sporting a number of new features like the ability to search the Fixr app directly from the Google Search bar. If you do head into the app, then it will also help you find the right club, music event or other, with easy to navigate sections and ticket booking if required.

Nybber Nightlife Guide

If you are still unsure of where to go, then you can always check out Nybber. This is another app which looks to help you find the perfect party spot and is one which will help you find just about any type of event. This is a much newer app then some of the others but seems to be one which is quite feature heavy. You can even check what's going on in cities or places that you are not at. Not sure why you might want to, but at least if someone calls you up as they have nothing to do, you can at least point them in the right direction.

Yelp

If you find somewhere that looks like it might be right for you, but are still unsure, then there is always Yelp. If the place you are thinking of is as good as you hope it will be, then chances are Yelp will be able to tell you. If nothing else, it can again be another route to finding out what's good nearby.

Maps

Once you have found the place, Google's Maps will always be a helpful addition to have in your app toolbox. Not only will it help you plan your route either by car, public transport or walking, but it will also make sure you know how long the journey will likely take. Perfect way to ensure you arrive fashionably late.

Night Life Keyboard Theme

If you are someone who likes getting really dressed up for a big night out, then you might also be someone who likes to fully customize with accessories. With your smartphone being the ultimate accessory, you might want to give Night Life Keyboard Theme a try. This one will instantly give your smartphone a party makeover and have it ready for the night ahead.

Instagram

Once the night is in full swing, you will more than likely want to record the highlights of the evening. While there are a ton of apps out there to help you this, Instagram remains a popular option.

Uber

Of course, once the night comes to a close, it will be time to start thinking about getting home again. This is never the most fun part of a night out, but a necessary one. Luckily, there are apps out there that will make the journey a little easier. Uber is one of them and will have a car at your feet ready to take you home (or on to the next place) is no time.
