Elephone Reveals Which Devices Will Get Marshmallow Update

China is home to many smartphone manufacturing companies, and it's not exactly easy to differentiate. Well, Elephone is doing the best they can, especially for such a small company. This company has released a couple of really compelling devices this year, including the P7000, P8000 and Vowney smartphones, not to mention that the best ones are incoming. The company aims to release the ELE Watch (which will probably going to be powered by Android Wear), and three P9000 smartphones soon. The highest-end of the aforementioned P9000 devices will actually sport no bezel on the sides, and all in all, these phones do look quite sleek overall.

That being said, we've received some additional info from our source at the company, regarding Android 6.0 Marshmallow updates. Now, as we've reported earlier, all three P9000 devices (P9000, P9000 Lite and P9000C) will ship with Android 6.0 Marshmallow pre-installed. What about the rest of the company's offerings? Well, the Elephone M3, Ivory, P8000, P6000 Pro and Trunk will be getting the update as well. The Trunk smartphone has actually already received the update, but not Elephone's usual software, but a customized version of CM13. The Elephone P9000 handsets will be available in January next year along with the newest version of Google's OS, and as far as the rest of these smartphones go, we still don't know when will they get updated, but we will keep you in the loop.

Interesting enough, Elephone did not mention the P7000 in this list, which is somewhat odd, but Elephone did leave a note in the provided image mentioning that more devices will be added to the list. As some of you might know, Elephone tends to add features to a stock version of Android, but they don't go overboard, at least they haven't thus far. The company also likes to keep the stock look to some extent, which is a good thing if you like Google's design, of course. Anyhow, as already mentioned, we'll let you know as soon as Elephone releases more info regarding Android 6.0 Marshmallow update schedule, stay tuned.
