Those in the market for a tablet running on Android should definitely not dismiss two of Samsung's more recent offerings this year, the Galaxy Tab S2 in both 8-inch and 9.7-inch models. While the internals are the same when it comes to hardware, each offers up a different screen size so as best to fit the needs of the person holding it. Normally these go for $399, and $499, but you can currently pick up the 8-inch model for just $347.99 and the 9.7-inch model for $399 on sale right now, which saves you $53 and $100 depending on the model you pick.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 is powered by an octa-core processor and carries 3GB of RAM for easy multitasking, and each model has 32GB of internal storage with the ability for expandable storage up to 128GB via the microSD card slot. Both sizes feature a screen resolution 2048 x 1536 and are using Samsung's Super AMOLED panel technology, and both come out of the box running Android Lollipop. Aside from the different screen sizes, they each come with a different battery size as well. The 8-inch model comes powered by a non-removable 4,000mAh battery while the larger 9.7-inch model comes powered by a non-removable 5,870mAh battery to account for the larger screen size. Both tablets can also be picked up in any of the three available colors of Black, White, and Gold.
