The Galaxy S7 (Edge) leaks have intensified in the last couple of weeks. Samsung’s new flagship(s) is expected to arrive in late February during the Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona, even though some rumors have been hinting at a January release date, no matter how improbable that might be. Anyhow, according to rumors, the Galaxy S7 will resemble its predecessor quite a bit as far as the design is concerned, but Samsung is allegedly working hard in order to improve their TouchWiz Android skin, which is always good to hear. In addition to all this, rumors claim that the company plans to announce a 5.2-inch Galaxy S7, and the 5.5-inch Galaxy S7 Edge devices in Q1 next year.

We’re not here to talk about leaks or rumors, it’s time to take a short break from all of that, and take a look at the newest Galaxy S7 Edge concept video which surfaced yesterday. If you take a look at the embedded video below this article, you’ll get to see a Galaxy S7 Edge concept which actually resembles the Galaxy S6 a lot. This concept video is quite realistic actually, as we do expect the Galaxy S7 to be close to its predecessor as far as the design is concerned. Now, the device’s specifications are also mentioned in the video, and they’re actually quite realistic as well, they seem to be based on recent rumors we’ve been seeing. The author of this video mentions that the device sports a 5.5-inch QHD (2560 x 1440) display along with 4GB of RAM and 32/64/128GB of internal storage. The 2,750mAh battery has also been mentioned in this video, and so is the Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS. The Snapdragon 820 and Exynos 8890 processors will allegedly fuel the Galaxy S7 / S7 Edge, and the source mentions these chips as well. As far as camera sensors go, the 12-megapixel BRITECELL snapper is located on the back of the device along with a dual-LED, dual tone flash, while an 8-megapixel shooter can be found up front. It is also worth mentioning that a Type-C USB port and a fingerprint scanner have also been mentioned here.

This concept video has been created by Jermaine Smith, in case you were wondering, and it also shows the Galaxy S7 Edge in four color options: Gold Platinum, Pink Gold, Platinum Silver and Sapphire Black. That’s pretty much it, new rumors / leaks will come knocking soon, so stay tuned for that.
