Bluboo is not amongst the best-known China-based smartphone manufacturers, but this company has released a couple of really interesting devices this year. Bluboo Xtouch is the company’s current flagship which has been released recently, and they’ve also introduced a couple of additional devices, including the extremely affordable Bluboo Xfire. Now, our source at the company has sent us some information regarding the upcoming Bluboo X9 device recently, and interestingly enough, that handset is actually available for pre-order as we speak, read on.
The Bluboo X9 pre-order listing has surfaced in, the device is now available for pre-order from a number of Chinese resellers, like GearBest for example. Now, this smartphone actually sports a rather interesting design, and does look quite sleek. The phone sports a metallic frame, and a fingerprint scanner on the back of the device. This smartphone features a 5-inch 1080p (1920 x 1080) 2.5D curved display along with 3GB of LPDDR3 RAM and 16GB of eMMC 5.0 internal storage. The 2,500mAh battery is also a part of this package, and the phone is fueled by MediaTek’s MT6753 64-bit octa-core processor. The 13-megapixel camera (f/2.2 aperture) is available on the back of this phone, and a 5-megapixel snapper can be found up front. Android Lollipop comes pre-installed here, and Bluboo has added a layer of the company’s software in here, of course. These are mainly some gesture-based functions, and some apps, nothing that would bog down phone’s performance, that’s for sure.
Now, if you take a look at the gallery down below, you’ll get to see this smartphone in the flesh. As you can see, there seems to be a capacitive button below the display, and it looks quite interesting. The power / lock and volume rocker buttons are placed on the right-hand side of this device, and are also made out of metal. We’ve also embedded Bluboo’s official promo video below the article, in case you’d like to check that out as well. The Bluboo X9 is priced at $149.99, and as already mentioned, it can be pre-ordered from a number of Chinese resellers as we speak. The pre-orders will last until December 30th, after which Bluboo will start shipping devices, and the X9 will probably be available for open sale.
