10. Huawei Honor 7
Huawei Honor 7 has once again made our list. This smartphone is made out of metal, and it sports a 5.2-inch 1080p panel, which makes the device quite manageable. The phone ships with 3GB of RAM on the inside, and is powered by the Kirin 950 octa-core SoC clocked at 2.2GHz, which makes it powerful enough. The 20-megapixel shooter is available on the back of this phone, and Android 5.0 Lollipop comes pre-installed here with EMUI 3.1 installed on top of it.
9. Asus ZenFone 2 (ZE551ML)
Asus has announced a couple of ZenFone 2 devices back in January during CES, and has added to that list throughout 2015. The ZenFone 2 model with 4GB of RAM is the most powerful device out of the bunch. This phone is quite affordable, and yet it offers really solid performance. The device is fueled by Intel’s SoC, while it sports a 13-megapixel camera on the back, and ships with a 5.5-inch 1080p panel up front.
8. Xiaomi Mi Note (Pro)
Xiaomi has unveiled Mi Note and Mi Note Pro phablets back in January this year. These two devices are still Xiaomi’s flagship phablet, and the Note Pro is more powerful of the two. This device packs in a Snapdragon 810 SoC, 4GB of RAM and a 5.7-inch QHD display. The lower-end, Mi Note, ships with a 5.5-inch 1080p display, 3GB of RAM and is powered by the Snapdragon 801 SoC.
7. Huawei P8Max
The Huawei P8 Max is certainly an interesting device. This is a 6.8-inch behemoth, and unless you’re looking for an incredibly huge device, this certainly isn’t for you. In case you are into huge devices, this phone has lots to offer. The P8 Max is made out of aluminum, while it is powered by the HiSilicon Kirin 935 octa-core processor and ships with 3GB of RAM on the inside.
6. Meizu MX5
Meizu has released two flagships this year, and this the less powerful one. The Meizu MX5 is still a high-end smartphone which packs in a lot of punch. This phone sports a 5.5-inch 1080p AMOLED display, 3GB of RAM and is powered by the Helio X10 64-bit octa-core SoC. The phone is made out of metal, sports Quick Charging and has a fingerprint scanner below the display. The 20-megapixel snapper is available on the back of MX5, and the device comes in three internal storage variants.
5. Huawei Mate S
Huawei has announced quite a few smartphones this year, but the Mate S is the most interesting one thus far. The Mate S has been announced during IFA, and this handset actually comes in both the regular and a ‘Force Touch’ variant. The phone sports 3GB of RAM, a 5.5-inch 1080p display, and is powered by the Kirin 935 octa-core SoC. The 13-megapixel OIS camera is also a part of this package, and the device is made out of metal.
4. Xiaomi Mi 4C
Xiaomi didn’t hold back on device announcements this year, the company has announced a number of new phones since January. The Mi 4C might be their ‘best buy’ device though. This smartphone is powered by the Snapdragon 808 64-bit hexa-core SoC, 2/3GB of RAM and has a 5-inch 1080p IPS LCD display up front. The phone is very well built and it is really hard to find a phone that offers more at that price point.
3. ZTE Nubia Z9
ZTE has released quite a few high-end phones this year, and Nubia Z9 remains one of the more interesting ones. This device was announced earlier this year and it actually sports no bezel on the sides. The device packs in 3/4GB of RAM and is powered by the Snapdragon 810 64-bit octa-core SoC. The Nubia Z9 is made out of metal and glass, and it certainly feels premium enough, though it’s also quite expensive.
2. OnePlus 2
OnePlus 2 is OnePlus’ 2015 flagship. This device actually sports 4GB of RAM and is fueled by the Snapdragon 810 SoC. The 13-megapixel camera can be found on its back, and it also sports a 5.5-inch 1080p (1920 x 1080) display up front. The phone offers 4G LTE connectivity, and comes with Android 5.1.1 Lollipop pre-installed with OnePlus’ Oxygen OS on top of it.
1. Meizu PRO 5
Meizu’s PRO 5 phablet is the latest and greatest from Meizu. This is the company’s flagship for 2015, and it is powered by the Exynos 7420 64-bit octa-core SoC which can be found in Samsung’s flagships this year. The phone comes in both 3 and 4GB variants, and features a 21-megapixel shooter on the back. The device sports a 5.7-inch 1080p AMOLED display, and a 3,050mAh battery is packed on the inside. Android 5.1 Lollipop comes pre-installed here with Meizu’s Flyme 5 UI available on top of it.
